Faithful to the Call
At Agua Viva, our mission — making disciples of Jesus through education, mentoring, and family strengthening — is at the heart of everything we do. But carrying out that mission faithfully also requires building strong foundations that allow us to serve our students and families with wisdom, excellence, and long-term stability.
Our passion for providing quality education and seeing lives transformed through the Gospel remains stronger than ever. At the same time, we recognize that there are still areas where we can learn, grow, and become even more effective in the work God has entrusted to us.

Through conversations, prayer, and reflection, we were introduced to Edify, an organization that partners with Christian schools worldwide to strengthen leadership, organizational development, and biblical integration. After several weeks of learning about their ministry and prayerfully considering the opportunity, we decided to begin a free three-year partnership with them.
One of our first steps in this process was completing a thorough and honest self-evaluation. The results were encouraging — not because we have everything figured out, but because they gave us a clearer understanding of both our strengths and the areas in which we still want to grow.

We were especially grateful to receive high marks in governmental processes and requirements, reflecting the excellent and faithful work of our team. At the same time, we were thankful to receive guidance in one of the areas closest to our hearts: biblical integration.
For us, biblical integration is about far more than simply adding spiritual activities to the school day. It means cultivating a truly Christ-centered education shaped by a biblical worldview in the way we teach, mentor, and walk alongside our students every day.
For Seño Raquel, our school principal, this has become one of the most meaningful parts of the journey.
“Biblical integration is a very big challenge. But I know that if we can accomplish that, all the effort will have been worth it. There is such a great need and hunger for the Word of God.”

While strengthening organizational foundations may not be as visible as constructing a new building or expanding enrollment, we believe this work will have a deep and lasting impact on our students, families, and community for years to come.
We know this journey will require time, humility, effort, and continual learning. But we also believe it is part of faithfully stewarding the mission God has given Agua Viva.
