A Place to Flourish

In rural communities like the one we serve in Guatemala, many students grow up facing significant challenges within the public education system—overcrowded classrooms, limited resources, and few opportunities for individualized attention.

For Erick and Catherin, beginning middle school at Agua Viva meant stepping into a very different environment. Their story reflects the reality many students in our community would continue facing without access to Agua Viva’s scholarship program.

At Agua Viva, Erick and Catherin found more than academic opportunity. They found a safe place to learn, teachers who genuinely care about them, and mentors who encourage them both personally and academically while walking alongside them each day.
